I was going through some old boxes at my mom's house and found these cards my dad drew when he was a teenager.  I had not seen these before - they are soooo cool!!  Thought I would share some with everyone!

My Latest Creations

I have just finished some ATC's for some swaps on SCS and SAA!

I am hosting a swap on SCS - Disney Villains - I did Cruella and Medusa:

On SAA they are doing a kid swap - so Quintin and I did this ATC - TMNT!!

Quintin did the green sponging and coloring on the base card!! 

Just thought I would share a couple of things - hope everyone has a great week!!

Collage of Family

Here is a collage of pictures I did of my kids and my mom.  Marcus is really letting my mom be around him more. He is letting her into his play space - I am so excited!!!!  He has come such a long way in such a short time.  I really have to hand it to all of his therapists and developmental specialists!!  You guys are great.

I can't forget my oldest - such a sweetheart.  He has taken all of this in stride.  He is so patient and kind to his little brother!! 

I am so blessed to have such 2 sweet angels in my life!!!

 

SPD Foundation Kit

Okay - I am a little late in getting this posted!!!  I just couldn't decide what I wanted to do!! 

I decided to do a Skool Dayz Paperbag Scrapbook Kit - since so many kids are going back to school!!!

This kit has so many wonderful vintage papers - it also has some great cards and embellishments as well.  Some of these pictures should bring back memories to some people.  I have even included a Czech Storybook paper in here.

The kit is going to be $15.00 - 50% of the proceeds will go to the SPD Foundation!!!!!

Here is the frong cover!!  Yes, that is about as good as I draw - The Stick Figure!!  Actually it is a self portrait!!  lol

My First Swap Returns

Here are a few pictures of some of the ATC's I received back from my first swap - Fairy Tales and Fairys

The Castle is sooooo cute - if you notice - there is a blonde braid hanging down from the tallest tower!! 

The detail on these two cards are amazing!!

These two cards are fabulous as well -- The Frog Prince is adorable.  The girl who did this embossed the paper then sanded it.  Great idea.

The second one - I wish the pic would have turned out better - the detail on this one is incredible.  She is a cute little fairy sitting on a mushroom!!

These people are so talented on SCS!!  I am so happy with my swap!!!

Good News!!

I am going to be doing a Sensory Processing Disorder kit of the month and I am going to donate 50% of the proceeds to the this Foundation. 

As I have written before in my posts, my son has this disorder plus Autism and developmental delays.  I really am excited to do this -- I want to help fund the research for this really very hard to understand disorder.

The first kit will be available next week.  I am going to center them around children and supporting the families.

I hope all of you will join me and take a look at the kits -- even if you don't buy one - this just raises awareness!!

Summer Fun in the Sprinklers

Here are a few pictures I took the other day with my not so little guys running through the sprinklers.

My youngest, Marcus, as I have already mentioned before has Sensory Processing Disorder, Autism, and Developmental Delays, he is just now starting to really like the water. As you can see from these pictures, he really likes the water.  At one point, he even picked up the sprinkler head and started using it as a shower head of sorts - my oldest, Quintin, didn't like that at all.... Quintin always thinks he should be the one to think of all the "fun" stuff!!
